What is MealTime?
MealTime is an iOS app that saves recipes from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, Threads, and any website with one tap. It organizes saved recipes into cookbooks, turns them into weekly meal plans, and builds grocery lists automatically.
How do I save a recipe?
Open the recipe in any app, tap the Share button, and choose MealTime. The app reads the source and extracts a clean recipe with ingredients, steps, times, and servings. See the step-by-step guide for each platform.
Which sources can MealTime import from?
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit, and Threads, plus any recipe website or blog, screenshots and photos (including photos of cookbook pages), and recipe text you paste.
Is MealTime free?
MealTime is free to try, and you do not need an account for your first save. Some features are part of a paid subscription. You can manage a subscription or trial in the App Store, and email support for billing questions.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed to try your first save. An account lets you sync your cookbooks across devices and share cookbooks and lists with other people.
Which devices does MealTime support?
MealTime is an iOS app for iPhone. You can download it from the App Store.
Can I share recipes and grocery lists with my family?
Yes. You can share a cookbook and a grocery list with your partner or family, and everyone sees updates in real time.
Can I plan meals and make grocery lists?
Yes. Add saved recipes to a weekly meal plan, then generate an organized grocery list from the plan with one tap.
How accurate are imported recipes, and can I edit them?
Most imports are accurate, but because MealTime uses AI to read recipes, a quantity or step may occasionally need a correction. Every field is editable, so review an import before cooking — especially measurements and anything allergy-related.
